Press Release

Eli Klein Fine Art is pleased to present Yang Qian.

This exhibit will present some of the most celebrated works on view, including his shredded magazine and Kinetic Interaction Installations, as well as his most recent development in his artistic language.  Rich in content, as the renowned curator Huang Du put, “Let the art simply be itself”.  His art is based on artistic imagining, aesthetics, and social interactions, which compose the main thread of his thoughts. He uses a lot of different media, because he expresses the illusion of the media and material language in an abstract way. His works always dislocate the viewer in the perception of both familiar and alienate. His Kinetic Interactive Installation involves the audience into a world where the sublime overwhelmingly taking place and guiding the audience into another world of fascination. His subject matter includes popular figures and even symbols of the modern daily living, and this translates into the way how he perceives the world and mundane beyond ordinary.
